VERNON WINTERFEST 2011

The Town of Vernon, the Vernon Parks & Recreation Department
 and the Rockville Community Alliance
have announced the schedule for “Winterfest 2011”:


   FRIDAY, DEC. 2

6:15 pm Torchlight parade:
Fire trucks from Vernon and surrounding towns, tree lighting and carol sing; refreshments

7:30 pm Jacob’s Coffeehouse:
features the Union Congregational Church’s Praise Team, singing holiday songs (Bev’s Corner, free) doors open at 7:00 pm, free


   SATURDAY, DEC. 3

9 am-12 pm Children’s Holiday Festival:

Run by Vernon Parks & Rec; open to children 10 yrs and younger (children 4 & under must be accompanied by a person 16+). Bring your child to the Vernon Teen Center to enjoy fun activities, crafts, cookie decorating, holiday movies, moon bounce and more! 

In lieu of the fee, please bring an unwrapped toy for donation.
